In the context of PhD diversified employment, secondary school teaching is a new path that PhD seeks for itself to be able to play what has been learned. Through the qualitative research of doctoral teachers, this study found that teaching experience, ability assessment, interest preferences and educational ideals formed the self-perception of secondary school teaching, welfare benefits, job stability, development space and social promotion, shaping the future generations to form the career benefits of secondary school teaching, urban attraction, famous school attraction, career retreat and other influences, scientific research experience shaped the employment environment of secondary school teaching. Among them, self-awareness and occupational benefits directly affect the willingness to teach in doctoral secondary schools, and the employment individual environment indirectly affects the willingness of doctoral secondary schools to teach through self-cognition and employment external environment through occupational benefits. This study believes that we should attach importance to the career guidance of doctoral students and lead the rational cross-border of doctors; face up to the relationship between doctors and secondary school teachers, and match the needs of the school to obtain talents; pay attention to the cultivation of talents, use talents to retain talents, and enhance the sense of professional achievement of doctoral teachers.
